The bet on Nordic banking.

In 2016, Henrik and Geir started rethinking how Nordic banks and financial institutions originate, onboard, and manage customers. The category was crowded with international platforms that didn't speak Nordic regulation, and incumbent banks running on infrastructure built before mobile. We thought there was room for a Nordic-native digital credit platform built by operators who'd shipped before.

Stacc spun out of Knowit/CVision with a core team of ten and Amp Eleven as the patient capital behind it. Geir took CEO; Henna joined as COO. The founding partnership is unusual: two of the company's three earliest people are partners at the firm that wrote the check. The skin in the game isn't theoretical.

Over the next nine years, the team grew to roughly 250 across Norway, Sweden, and Denmark. The product won the customers that matter — Norwegian and Swedish banks running their actual mortgage pipelines on Stacc. In December 2025, DNB — Norway's largest bank — announced it's moving its mortgage platform onto Stacc, across both DNB and Sbanken. It's the most significant single contract in Stacc's history and arguably in Norwegian banking-software history.

Today Stacc is the digital infrastructure layer Nordic banks reach for when they're done waiting for their incumbent vendor to ship. Patient capital, operator founders, nine years of compounding craft.
