The transition from law firm to partner-on-the-cap-table is rare in Norwegian PE. Most legal counsel stays counsel. I sit on the same side of the term sheet as the founders.

Five-year law degree from the University of Bergen, with an exchange year at Queen Mary University of London specializing in corporate and finance law. The international training matters more than it sounds — every term sheet I've signed since had something English-law-shaped about it.
